Music For a Life

A Fundraising concert featuring the unique music from Sindh.
Listen to the mesmerizing music and support the widow and mother of legendary Sindhi folk musicians in her fight with cancer.

Kuch Khaas and The Institute for Preservation of Art and Culture (IPAC) brings you an exquisite performance by a group of renowned musicians who would enthrall you with indigenous folk, semi-classical and classical music. The event is organized to raise funds for the widow of Khamisu Khan, a celebrated Alghoza (double flute) player from Sindh.

The contribution of the Khamisu family for promoting and evolving this rare music instrument are undeniable. Now the Khamisu brothers along with a group of musicians including Ustaad Fateh Ali Hyderabadi and Kabir Altaf are coming to Islamabad to spread their magic and raise funds for their ailing mother.

IPAC as an organization promoting and preserving the art and culture of Pakistan has been actively involved in providing financial assistance to our folk artists. This event is an effort in the same direction. A direction that ensures preserving our beautiful and rare art forms for generations to come. A direction that is only possible to take, if all of us support the gifts bestowed to us by our rich culture.

Take with you enchanting music and give back the opportunity to save a woman’s life.
