Music

Shakespeare said ‘if music be the food of love play on’. KK brings you the best seven course meal of Rock n Roll, Contemporary music, Qawwali, Marmalade sessions, and open mic events such as OMG [Oh My Gig]

Concerts and recitals bring to you local acts of all musical genres , both amateur or established. Islamabad enjoyed a New Year’s Eve Qawwali this year. Before that KK treated its patrons to ditties from national masters sung by the international group Seven Eyes.
Open mic gig, originally abbreviated as OMG, eventually became unabbreviated as the Oh My Gig! Community members with a passion for singing or playing music are welcome to audition, get selected and then perform in front of a live audience at Kuch Khaas.
The Marmalade Sessions, featuring promising local musicians and vocalists for an evening of beautiful music and fine dining courtesy the Lime Tree cafe.
Other regular events include Rap ‘N Rolla, which features local rappers battling it out onstage using their words and rhythm; and the Drumming Circle, a weekly event for people of all ages to get together and create percussive melodies.
Many Kuch Khaas events feature dance performances by our very gifted dance instructors and their students. In addition, Kuch Khaas also conducts the Dance Crew Program, which tours schools and colleges to find the best dancers in the city.
