Sit a spell with four jolly interactive stories for children in English from the Province of Québec in Canada. All stories are related to Christmas and New Year’s Day, the two mostly celebrated days in Québec. The cozy christmas tales will include Santa Claus playing a violin, snow storms, a flying canoe and the true story about a Québec family of 14 children getting ready for Christmas Eve. ABOUT THE STORYTELLERS Denis Chouinard and Violette Paré have been doing theatre and story-telling in Canada for many years, as well as in every country they visited with their children while being posted abroad. ABOUT THE VIOLINIST James Stephens is a musician from Canada who plays a variety of musical styles including folk music from across Canada. His main instrument is the fiddle, the traditional music version of the violin. James also works as a sound engineer and has been active in this role for many years in Canada and in Pakistan during the last two years.
