In a unique turn of events, a London based banker made the Pakistani Highlands his new abode. Here he rediscovered a new set of goals, priorities and, perspectives in life. He shares these experiences with his Pakistani friend and colleague, back in London, who is indulged in his own immediate set of worries of making a living.
‘Yours’ is a film essay, inspired by the works of Chris Marker in films like ‘Sans Soleil.’ It is a composition of thoughts, sounds and scenes filmed in Kalash,
Skardu, Hunza, Gilgit and Nanga Parbat. The film offers a contemplation on aspects of life in the highlands that are alien to life in the city and highlights how these aspects provide an opportunity to develop character traits that are key to our personal development as human beings.
